Disclaimer: I’m not a jio hater, I also use jio for my internet purpose, in fact, I have specially bought jiofi of Rs. 1999 and paying Rs. 500 monthly for data. So genuinely neither I hate jio nor I love jio. I’m just neutral about it. But might my friends start hating it after reading this article?

So today I’m going to tell you the dark side of jio for jio phone and giving a reason to not to buy jio phone

What Were The Plan Of Jio For Jio Phone?
If you remember a few months back scenario about jio. Jio had launched its first mobile phone free. Jio said these things at that movement.
- Jio phone is free (yeah yeah after 3 years)
- Buyers have to pay Rs 1500/- only as a security money and it is refundable after 3 years.
- I think that’s it said by jio or I’m forgetting something, if yes then please tell me in the comment section.
Jio Phone Pre-Booking Incident 
Now after the announcement of these things finally Jio started taking pre-booking for their phones in starting of September. Thousands of people tried to book jio phone but only a few got to succeed. But they are going to repent if they successfully pre-ordered jio phone(I think I’m sorry if I told too much 
) and non-successful users might take a breath of relief after that.

Jio Mobile Phone Hidden Terms And Conditions *
I’m going to tell jio mobile phone hidden terms and conditions and I will also share my view and I’m requesting to all of the mine friends to share your opinion with me so that I can know I’m right or wrong?
#1. Security

| Jio said you need to pay Rs. 1500/- as security money before booking jio phone and it will be refundable after 3 years. | I don’t have any objection to it. |
#2. Use of Jio Phone
Now comes to the second point. Here jio has put few conditions for use of jio phone, like:

| If you have a jio phone then you have to recharge of Rs. 1500/- (minimum, Rs. 153 per month) per year for 3 years. | I do have an objection to it. See in jio sim, it’s on us to make a recharge or not, we can even give a gap of a month but in jio phone, you have to make a recharge every month for 3 years, its mandatory. I’ll explain you in detail about that below. (By the way, I cannot digest it and you?) |
| You can’t play with jio phone if you are thinking that once you get this phone in your hand so you can do anything you want? You are in dreams, friends. Jio doesn’t allow you to play with their phone like rooting attempt or jail-breaking. | I don’t have any objection in that too. After all, we have to return it back after 3 years and if something happened to it, they will not refund our security money. |
| Only Jio sim in Jio phone. As we already knew about that we can only use jio sim in jio phone. | I don’t have any objection to it because we already know about it. |
#3. Early Return of The Jio Phone
We all know that if we want our money back then we have to wait for 3 years after 3 years when we return our jio phone back to jio we will get our money back. BUT here jio played a game, according to new terms and conditions you can return jio phone back to jio anytime, you don’t need to wait for 3 years.

| If you are going to return jio phone back to jio from the date of issue to next 12 months, you need to pay Rs. 1500/- plus GST to jio. So if you are going to return it then you have to pay Rs. 1500/- plus Rs. 270 (GST) that mean you have to pay an amount of Rs. 1770. | I do have a BIG objection in it because you will pay extra Rs. 270/- as GST |
| Now if you are going to return jio phone back to jio in between 1 year to 2 years, you need to pay Rs. 1000/- plus GST to jio. So if you are going to return it then you have to pay Rs. 1000/- plus Rs. 180 (GST) that mean you have to pay an amount of Rs. 1180. | I do have a BIG objection in it because you will pay extra Rs. 180/- as GST |
| Now if you are planning to return jio phone back to jio in between 2 years to 3 years, you need to pay Rs. 500/- plus GST to jio. So if you are going to return it then you have to pay Rs. 500/- plus Rs. 90 (GST) that mean you have to pay an amount of Rs. 590. | I do have a BIG objection in it because you will pay extra Rs. 90/- as GST |
But you will get your Rs. 1500/- after giving back to them but friends do you think its profitable or non profitable, of course its non profitable if you are returning before 3 years then you are paying extra or you will get few amount back after substracting it.
#4. Repossession of Jio Phone
Thinking what does it mean? Buddies, it means:

| Jio can demand to their phone if you don’t make a recharge or if you missed making a recharge of Rs. 1500/- per year for 3 years or Rs. 153 per month for 36 months. | Now imagine if they brought it back their device before 3 years (because you didn’t make a recharge as their terms and conditions) then you have to give early charges as I mentioned just above. |
But you will get your Rs. 1500/- after giving back to them but friends do you think its profitable or non profitable, of course its non profitable if you are returning before 3 years then you are paying extra or you will get few amount back after substracting it.

Friends, I told you all terms and conditions of jio that Jio hide us when jio phone was getting booked, they put these terms and conditions after 3 or 4 days after the successfully pre-booking event. If I booked jio phone at that event and I read these terms and conditions then I really get angry on Jio. Few of you might have ordered jio phone and few of didn’t, so friends share your feelings with me so that we can see Jio cheated us or not? And if any of your friends ordered jio phone then tell them these terms and conditions.
